Nicknames: Cheesie Weezie Lemon Squeezie, Smudge Pot coordinator, Das Veener-Schnitzle, Nitzi, Sticks and Moo-cowess. Favorite Food: Oh my gosh... EVERYTHING! Food should have been Weezie's middle name! There's nothing this beauty won't eat.. She'll even eat brussel sprouts! ~~~ To my dearest sweet Weezie, from the moment I found you online, read your background and even found out that you were heartworm positive, and still needed to be treated I absolutely fell in love with you. Your Daddy and I discussed how the heartworms could have possibly affected many of your body's functions including your brain and lungs, we knew that we would perhaps only have a short time with you. Despite all of that, my heart had already opened up to you and I knew that we had to rescue you. Your life was so very rough before coming home to us. I knew you deserved a wonderful home filled with love and joy. Weezie, I cried and wept over the situation as we were already ready to bring you home the day we met and we were told that you needed all 3 heartworm treatments before you could officially be adopted. I begged and pleaded and I promised that we would be sure to get you to all of your appointments without fail, and after approval of the shelter and us raising the funds within under 24 hours I was already bringing you home! You made a full recovery from the heartworms and we had an amazing 6 years together (just under)... Wonderful birthdays, holidays, treats, toys, boating, beach and doggie park fun. Sunbathing in the yard... Bye bye truck and bringing you and Plottie to pick out Christmas trees! We tried to give you the world and the best of everything! I hope that we did and that you loved your life with us. Lord knows we love and miss you.. Your sissy, Plottie misses you so very much! Weezie, my sweet baby, I'm so glad we celebrated Halloween early this year as within your last few days you had fun in your Halloween costume, had your wonderful toys and treats from your trick or treat baskets but I could see you slowing down. I'm forever grateful to God that you can into my life and when it was your time, I was with you and never left your side.. Holding you in my arms and telling you how much I love you. You were in your favorite spot in the bed and we snuggled. We saw nothing but love in your eyes as I held you and I pray that you could feel our forever love for you. Weezie, you will always be loved, cherished and missed until the end of time. I truly miss your love, spunk and sass, smile, different barks, playfulness, kisses, snuggles and even snoring! Oh, my dear little Weezie Weezle.... This I know for sure... If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever with us!
